Because my first attempt had some errors, here's a better translation of the First Amendment:
no da ba flalu fu la kongris. fe leza'i da sarji lo lijda ku .a leza'i da fanta le jdasi'a .a le cusku .a le panpi girzu .a le panti be fi le jecta
No thing shall satisfy the properties that it is a law passed by Congress and that it supports a religion and/or that it limits worship and/or expression or peaceful groups and/or petitions to the government.
In the original:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

"ku" terminates a sumti, not an abstraction (a construct that starts with "nu"). So, after "lo lijda ku", the abstraction continues, with "sarji" taking "leza'i da fanta le jdasi'a" as its x2. To close the nu abstraction, you need "kei" instead of "ku".
ReplyDeleteNonetheless, good attempt!
